We are happy to announce that the 1st (digital) Dissemination Event of the Project “Herbs for Growth-HEGO” was succesfully organized by ODIMM foundation (PP3) on ZOOM platform.
The event was attended by representatives of public authorities, research institutions, universities / training centers, entrepreneurs and project partners.
During the virtual event, the participants had the chance to gain knowledge into issues like the nature and the aims of HEGO project, its foreseen activities and, generally, the current state of play of the herb sector in the partner area with the focus on Moldova. Morover, development opportunities for growing, producing, promoting and selling medicinal and aromatic plants were also presented by experts, academics and indusrty professionals. At the same time, the participants had the chance to familiarise with success stories of Moldovan entrepreneurs, specifying the contribution of the key actors in the development of this field, as well as the future trends of the sector.

This was the first dissmination event to promote the project “HEGO – plants for economic growth” in a partner country. Similar activities will be organized by the other partner countries in the near future:
a) in Armenia – January 2022,
b) in Georgia – May 2022 and
c) in Greece – October 2022.
